When to change peripheral intravenous catheters (IV).

When to change peripheral intravenous catheters (IV).

Part one Introduction:
Students are to apply the Johns Hopkins Nursing Evidence-Based Practice (JHNEBP) model by selecting a clinical nursing problem. The JHNEBP model is designed specifically to meet the needs of the practicing nurse and uses a three-step process called PET: practice question (P), evidence (E), and translation (T).

In Module 2, students are to complete the first step of PET: practice question (P). Be sure to place your PICO in proper format: In (P), does (I) compared to (C) reduce/improve (O)?
